I finally graduated from college! Wooo Hoo! It was a fittingly overcast day for the west side. The ceremony lasted far too long, but luckily they let you sit next to whoever you want so my dear friend Stacy and I found ways to stay busy. While we were waiting for everyone to make it into the gym we looked for our respective families and pretended to pick each others noses while they took pictures. Yes, this was college graduation not middle school. What can I say?
I got to have my whole family together for the first time since Christmas. It was great. The last week or so was spent going to BBQs, dancing at 80's night, and saying far to many good-byes. My impending departure didn't hit me until a few days before and then again as I pulled out of my driveway for the last time. Oh how I will miss B'ham and all of my friends. It didn't take long for that place to become my home.
I am now back in the good old Tri-Cities, hanging out a bit and packing up all my worldly possessions, sorting what to take to Alaska, Austria, and what to pack away for a long time.
